SPS Commerce Culture

Life at SPS

Unique. Dynamic. People-powered.

Without our energetic, fast-paced team of all-hands-on-deck doers, absolutely none of our growth achievements would have been possible, that’s why we strive to deliver a challenging yet rewarding workplace where our employees feel inspired, motivated and valued. We’re ready to keep winning and that means we need people who like to Get. After. It.

Change is in our DNA. Every team––from sales to tech development––is constantly innovating, creating and overcoming. We create omnichannel retail solutions that help retailers, suppliers and third party logistics collaborate to optimize supply chain efficiencies. In other words, we create tech products that retail companies depend on to adapt to an ever-changing retail environment, allowing them to work smarter and more efficiently.

We do big things here.

Thirst for Growth

Growth is imperative in a network business, it also fuels constant change so we embrace that change and continue to reinvent ourselves as we grow.

SPS at Work

Our perks are big and small, from company-wide events and department outings to a casual dress code and endless coffee. We’re a collective of sharp minds that have an amazing work ethic, and we celebrate our really successes.

The people at SPS are so supportive of each other that it has become more than just your typical workplace, it’s a family. The people here are what makes coming to work every day worthwhile.
Sales at SPS since 2015

I enjoy the fast-paced environment and the empathic leadership! I have a great team that likes to have fun while we work. Whether it’s a spontaneous nerf gun fight or an after work happy hour, there is never a dull moment at SPS.
Marketing with SPS since 2015

SPS has a ton to offer in terms of professional opportunities. The industry is unique and ever-changing, which results in people having to think differently to drum up creative solutions for complex problems. This is a culture of empowerment, which is a huge source of motivation for me. I’m able to make positive contributions every single day.
Technology Team at SPS since 2015

SPS is growing and growth means opportunity for people who want to grab it. Our dominance in the market makes coming to work fun and there are new challenges each day. I’ve never had two days that are exactly the same.

Favorite part about working at SPS:

The industry exposure and being part of a team redefining the retail business using data insight.

Basketball, traveling, photography and snowboarding.

We’re Better Together

Here we succeed together, move forward united and have a responsibility to our community. Each year, SPS holds an annual charity auction, partner with two work-study programs and hold an annual fundraising campaign for our signature cause, United Way.

For nearly a decade, this passionate spirit of giving has manifested itself through staff-created videos and a company-wide home-brew tasting event which benefits an organization who provides support for those in poverty. Our creativity has also granted us the honor of being named one of United Way’s “Best of” partners.

Corporate Social Responsibility

Our Values in Practice

Through donations from SPS employees and customers, we alongside the Elimisha Children’s Project were able to sponsor the development of a new school in Kenya. Located in the remote village of Kitui, the school was overcrowded and made of tin and wood. Now called SPS Academy, a symbol of gratitude from the community, the school doubled attendance in 2017.

  • While #compliance is an important part of managing #supplierperformance, it’s more important to consider the strategic purpose of a #vendorscorecard. A #scorecarding effort with insightful supplier metrics can help both the retailer and its suppliers perform better, together. https://www.spscommerce.com/blog/collaborative-vendor-scorecarding-spse/
  • EDI: #ElectronicDataInterchange just doesn’t do it justice. But what does #EDI do, really? What does it really mean? This helpful #infographic helps break it all down.
  • Every #BlackFriday #CyberMonday presents a tremendous opportunity for businesses to reach new customers and generate more revenue. To help you sell your best, our partners at #Shopify have put together a 27-point checklist to make this #holidayshopping season your best and most profitable yet.
  • With the summer behind us, autumn has officially begun, and with this change in season, the busy holiday season is now underway as is a return to standard daylight time. It’s the busiest season of the year for retailers. Your time is valuable so let’s take a look at your to-do list and start crossing items off of it, forever, and save it for activities that matter. The good news is that you can save time by using #automation to automate these manual tasks with #EDI. You’ll put hours back into your week and keep order and #supplychain processes moving.
